How We Came To Be

The concept of NeedsFree was created by a seven-year-old boy who thought the basic needs of a family should be free and only "wants" should cost money. 

Our Vision

The goal of this program is to educate children through active participation in giving. Although sponsored and supervised by adults, the children work to implement the NeedsFree initiatives. 

About Us

NeedsFree is a "Needs Broker" that teaches kids to support established community programs. NeedsFree holds NeedsDrives to assist local charities, has a CarCare program to help working people who can't afford car repairs, and offers periodic grants to families and individuals who don't qualify for other resources. Through these activities NeedsFree strives to help children understand the value of serving others, to recognize the benefits of team work and most importantly, to cause them to realize they have the ability to change the world around them.
